Grocery prices are rising; it’s time to get smart!

Buying in bulk provides you with a cheaper alternative.

We as people who cook should stop paying high prices for their groceries simply because it is not worth it. Especially when there is a cheaper alternative out there; this would be buying in bulk.

According to the Ministry of Trade and Industry (Department of Statistics) prices for groceries has been on the rise. Consumer Price Index, which is what people pay for, has gone up 6% from 2010 to 2012. Click here to see more - Statistics to Rising Food Prices

Today, we do what normal human beings are best at doing; complain. However, if we just took the time to explore other options like purchasing food ingredients in bulk with our neighbors around us, such a thing would not be a problem for us no more.

Buying in bulk is not only cheaper; there are possibilities of getting promotional discounts. This may sound weird to some but clearly from the video we know it has been done and is regularly continued up till today.

So do not just sit around and sob about the grocery prices being high. Start doing something, go to your neighbors and introduce this idea to them. ASK THEM! Ask them if they want in. And if you are already buying in bulk with your friends, neighbors or family, tell us where you are getting the offers from!
